We Are One International is expanding our parties beyond Kyoto to Osaka, the central metropolis of the Kansai region that still remains Japan’s best place to eat, drink, and party!

The first We Are One Osaka party was held at Dublin Bay rooftop beer garden, an Irish style rooftop pub area that was illuminated by the neon lights of central Osaka and located with a great view over the Dotonbori river. We Are One was honored to celebrate our first Osaka party with the pub’s first anniversary.

On November 13th, a Saturday evening, guests started to arrive after 7pm. At a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with acoustic band music performed by “Strangers in a Strange Land”, people met new and old friends over a few drinks.

When the night got darker, a magic show by Yoko attracted everyone’s attention. Plus the BBQ smell of grilled kebabs and hamburgers, it made the night more mysterious and exotic! 

A million thanks to people who showed up and supported our first Osaka event! We really appreciate your presence that made it a successful event! We hope to organize more events in Osaka, so see you again soon!

Saturday the 13th of November is a special day.  The Dublin Bay Irish Bar (http://irishpub-dublinbay.com/) in Namba is turning one! That's right, it's turning We Are One International!

We Are One International is coming to Osaka and we have teamed up with the Dublin Bay in Namba for a special event.  A joint celebration of the bar's first anniversary and our first Osaka party.  And what better way to start in Osaka than to make new friends and meet new people.  We're bringing our famous International BBQ party to Osaka.  Aimed at everyone who wants to meet new people, make friends and connections and have a great time. ABOUT THE BAND

Osaka-based acoustic-rock duo called Ihou-no-kyaku (Pronounced "ee-ho-no-kyah-koo" which translates as "Strangers in a Strange Land".) 演奏楽器：
フルート、コンサーティーナ、ハープ、ティンホイッスル、etc.小さい頃から特に楽器に興味を持つ子どもであった。幼稚園の時、鼓笛隊のピアニカに憧れて買ってもらって以来、小学校の頃はアコーディオン、中学からは吹奏楽部でフルートを吹く。音大で本格的にクラシックを学ぶが、卒業後は民族音楽に興味を持ち、1996年頃アイルランド音楽と衝撃的な出会いをする。さまざまな楽器をやってみたくなる性格は変わらず現在に至る。

山本篤
演奏楽器：
ギター、ブズーキ、イリアン・パイプス、ティンホイッスル、etc. 高校生の頃にレッド・ツェッペリンに憧れてドラムを叩いていたが、ビートルズの影響でアコースティックギターも始める。1998年絵の修業のためアイルランドを訪れた際、イリアンパイプスの演奏を見て衝撃を受ける。帰国後は関西のあちこちにアイリッシュパブに出没し、セッションを繰り広げる日々。いろいろな楽器を持っていきたいためいつも荷物が多い。
